I cook my eggs in it or save it for cooking with later.
If I have any left over, I pour it into a dish and use it for sauteing later.

I keep a tub of bacon grease in my fridge and use it regularly for cooking. Stir-frying veggies in a little bacon fat has gotten my veggie-adverse hubby to eat things I didn't think he'd every touch before - like broccoli sauteed with onions, garlic.
I can't imagine eating/drinkinng it straight, but that's just me. I know there are folks in this community who eat coconut oil by the spoonful.
I also keep a tub in the refrigerator. I pour the grease from the pan through a sieve into the tub in order to clean it up a bit. I use it for sauteeing veggies & meats, put a dab in the crockpot with a lean roast for extra flavor.
Melted bacon grease is great for roasting brussel sprouts. Gives them a deeper flavor. I've also used melted bacon grease on chicken legs/thighs. At one point, I have thought about eating bacon fat from a spoon. I thought about it, didn't do it.

Very good for cooking lean meats such as game; adds flavour to stews as you brown the meat first![]()
