    A few questions

I've been primal for almost two weeks now with only one day of grain eating. I still feel tired (maybe still carb flu). Last week I was eating about 1300 calories and then each day the intake went up because I felt starving. I think I was hungry but also it was carb flu which I didn't realize considering when I went primal in the past I never had carb flu. After having a few days of eating about 2000 - 2200 calories a day I still feel full. But because I have a busy schedule I get scared if I don't eat (even though I'm not hungry) I'll crash! Of course that was my experience with CW. And I don't know if my body has switched over to fat burning. I know you aren't supposed to eat when you're not hungry but I am a little nervous that I'll burn out if I don't eat until my body understands grains no more! How did you all get your minds out of eating every 3 hours? Iwas a very strict every a few hours eat. If I didn't, I could barely function.

Also, my work is slowing down a bit and now not having to do chronic cardio I have free time!!! I have never had free time. I don't even know what to do with it! I know I need more play. But I live in an area where everyone keeps to themselves. it's tough to find a pick up game. I don't want to sit around and watch tv, and I can only read for so many hours. Thoughts? Wow, do I sound like a typical American don't know how to play....

One last... I really enjoy kombucha and know the benefits. But has anyone else found it is just too sugary? I feel like I'm sucking down a soda.

I was the same. It took me about 6 weeks to finally get that I didn't have to eat every 3 hours! I now regularly IF (Intermittent Fast) from 5 pm to 9 am and often go 5-6 hours between meals, no problem. The mind often needs more time to catch up with the body, lol!

Find a class--like partner dancing or bowling, etc.

GT's original kombucha is very low carb and doesn't taste sweet to me. I've halved the sugar in my homemade kombucha because it was too sweet. You could cut it with filtered/sparkling water.

I can relate. I was afraid that if I didn't eat before going to the gym, something bad would happen (I'd pass out or something). I took a deep breath one day, put all my faith into PB, and went for it. Guess what. I WAS FINE! I could eat a big CW breakfast and still feel like I was going to bonk at the gym, but even going full tilt, fasting, on PB, I feel like Superwoman! Now I know that I can go 18 hours without food and be okay (it's helping me through my first 24 hour fast today). Trust the Blueprint, and you'll be a rock star.

I think I do just need to trust the primal blueprint! I just hope feeling tired wears off soon. I'm getting enough sleep but still exhausted every day. Then when I'm lacking energy I want food for the energy spike. Blah! I've decided I need to come up with ways to fill meal times until my mind also transitions. At lunch time I want lunch even when I'm not hungry. I've been eating at certain times for more than 20 years so sure I expect it!

I do like the dancing idea! I use to do zumba but somehow I turned it into something I have to do. I'm very much a list person and love to check things off. Hardworking I understand but play and enjoy I don't! It looks like I need to change the way my mind thinks about food and play. I often feel very burned out from work because I do work extremely hard and put everything into it. I think that's fine, but I need a balance and then I'll come back even stronger.

Ok... adding play and trusting the blueprint!

I kind of doubt Grok knew what a Type A personality was...lol!

Rest easy--your body produces a hormone called ghrelin that stimulates hunger at your "usual" mealtimes. It will stopped being produced at those times when you stop eating--patience!
