Eating to enhance a fast
I just read The Perfect Health Diet and really enjoyed it! My favourite book atm.
Those guys recommend eating coconut oil (for medium chain triglycerides) and also fibre (for short chain fat production in the gut) during a fast to make it more ketogenic.
I couldn't find anymore info on the topic anywhere so I thought I would ask you guys
Would this break a fast or enhance it?
Would it be good for short 16hr daily fasts or longer ones?
