There's a certain group of people who are just about to find out the cost of their non-sustainable lifestyle thanks to Cyclone Yasi. Guess all their foods are going to have to be shipped in from some other tropical country and stored.

    Reminder, Don't mention their name!

+1! Yes, please don't mention their name!
I have a facebook friend living there (who happens to be part of said "cult") and I'm wondering how this will impact her.

Man I bet they are totally crying about this, I’m sure at least ONE cried.

"When prices were at their highest, growers even had to contend with the theft of banana bunches from their plantations."

    hahahah

eh, Adapt, migrate or die. Good reason not to base your whole diet on a single food group.

I that it sucks that prices are going up though. Yes, they're some crazy bastards but then we must seem like crazy bastards to everyone that buys into CW.

Fruitarianism is silly. What is not is all those banana plants, sugar cane and many peoples livelihoods were destroyed... I'm from this place, I was up all night worrying sick about my family.

That's also kind of a good reason not to live in Australia. I'm sorry but that place is completely inhospitable to human life.

Wonder what the aboriginals, who've lived there thousands of years, would think of that comment.
