    Just a funny story....

    Primal Fuel
I know that the following isn't true & actually it makes no sense if you imagine yourself 10000+ yrs ago.....but my BFF (who is actually quite smart) thinks (or used to think) that primal man was Vegan (she is one step away from being 100% Vegan), she also thinks that our closet primate relatives are Vegan. I had to stifle a laugh.

Homosapiens were not vegan no, but earlier incarnations that actually ended in their extinction were.

Australopithecus Robustus was, anthropologists beleive that he ate tree bark. Do you think she was talking about that?

LOL... reminds me of a conversation we had with my sister's (now ex) husband. He grew up very devout Baptist.

He actually believed (because his mother told him so) that wine in biblical times didn't have any alcohol in it. Seriously. Nice guy, but wow... *facepalm*

Even if they were, you can bet they didn't eat a lot of grains and sugar. Too hard to get. The predominance of those in the current standard diet is product of agriculture.

There is no way early humans could be vegan unless they lived in some kind of Eden with an abundance of plant food year round...Protein & fat would be too minimal for good health if a hunter gatherer didn't eat eggs (at a minimum) or meat.
Just read a great counter to The China Study, which appears to be the bible to vegans. A Vegan diet is fine if you choose if for moral/ethical or personal reasons, it just has no scientific basis & isn't how we are meant to eat, not to mention it can't really be done without the convenience of grocery stores & supplements.

Are you trying to be a PITA or does it come naturally?
