I agree. I am also a mixed fruit salad. My waist though I haven't measured it has a different curve to it and I'm one pound away from what I was when I could fit into my "skinny jeans". But when I try them on they still don't fit because my thighs are still pretty round.

Hmmmm cholesterol and fat...I'm going to see if anyone over at Wolf's forms has any thoughts on this. I've lost belly fat (yay!) and a bit in the thighs (keep going cellulite!) but I'm not wanting to bust out of my bras any more

A bit of back story may be useful too. Four years ago I was in a bad car accident and one of many things to be damaged was my hypothalamus. It got "rebooted" as the endocrine called it and my periods slowly started disappearing and when they did come they were proceeded by horribly painful cysts. My diet was high in veggies, fruit, non-gluten containing grains, a bit of yogurt, whey, chocolate, beans, and a bit of meat here and there. I had IBS and celiac, and did try everything from vegan to raw foods to get the IBS and hormones to regulate (not knowing at the time about the brain damage haha.)
OK so, June 2010 I started cut out dairy, legumes, grains and then bam, late Sept, right as I was about to enroll in an experimental treatment at UCSF Medical for women with hypothalamic amenorrhea (I kid you not), my periods started up. I just started my 4th one. Still can't believe it, so I would say that there is a good chance my hormones are starting to stabilize and this could be just something a few of us will deal with so no panicking yet ladies

Oh and I grew up a tomboy and have always been slightly irritated that I have to strap the girls down to go out and play with the boys;-)

    e. I really needed new bras.....the 34F/FF (yes, I know) were way to big on me. I needed to go down in the band and cup. I delayed and delayed, just never got around to it and even though I weigh the same now, I am totally filling out the cups but I still do need to go down in band size to a 32. My measurements are something like 37/25/37 (or thereabout)...can't find the d*mn tape measure.

At this point, I've had enough tissue growth that I'm barely fitting into these bras...even though my weight is stable. OH! Actually, it's not stable. I've lost another 3-5lbs or so now that I think of it. This is *crazy*. I just bought new jeans on Saturday and they're on the verge of being too big.

Funny you should mention that ... me too! Actually I've just posted quite a long comment about PMS over at Art's site, I'm just trawling through this one to post it here too.

The female hormone mix is interesting and the larger breasts before your period could well be to do with progesterone deficiency in the luteal phase (post ovulation) blah, blah, anyway I've posted on the PMS thread if you are further interested!

Here's something I've thought of. I've had PCOS most of my life, but was diagnosed with it at 31 when I lost most of my fat(and my boobs). I've always had slightly higher testosterone levels and am wondering if that could have caused the larger breasts then as I lost weight and the T evened out, they got smaller, almost back to down the size I started with when I was 11. I wonder if any of the PP's have seen this?

I think we're gonna need photo verification for that.

I've stayed the same, but that in itself is unusual; before when I've lost weight, my cups size went down immediately.
