    I Found It!

So there are 2 health food stores in town that I like to go to. Neither of them carried pastured butter (although one had yummy ghee), or grass fed beef. Then I remembered there was a health store behind Sonic. (Isn't that funny? A health store behind a fast food drive in, LOL!)
I went there looking for some carob powder to try a chocolate free chocolate pudding, and saw the holy grails. Pastured butter & GRASS FED CRITTER! Hubby is already pretty upset that our groceries this pay period was double than what it normally is, but I think I will take him back to this store so we can do a mock shopping trip & figure out how much the grass fed critters would be for a 2 week span and see if it would be do-able.
This made my day a lot better!

    Congrats on your new finds!

Quick question, though, why are you skipping cocoa to eat carob?

Cuz I wanted to try this recipe:

Yeah, I know, I'm a dork. I'll get ingredients just to try a recipe. That's probably half of my insane grocery spending this pay period. I *LOVE* chocolate, but I've never tried carob, and heard it's quite good. *Shrug* Curiosity killed the cat?

Haha, gotchya. I just wanted to make sure you didn't think cocoa powder was bad for some reason!

How was the pudding? I've heard of it, but haven't tried it myself yet.

Haven't tried it yet. Will make it tonight. Was hoping the hubby would wash the ninja pitchers so I could make it. He's cooking primal enchiladas from the cookbook now, so things got washed

    Bork,

This place is in St. George. They deliver through farmer's markets and a co-op in Vegas. They might deliver to Provo as well. The cattle is butchered in Richfield, so maybe you even could make the drive to the packing plant if you want it fresh.

I found a way to get great eggs from free range chickens! A gal in my ward raises chickens. They just run around her yard, happy as can be. *Ninja chop* Wha-cha!
