thats a good find, but a list like that will make me paranoid about eating anything.
stear away from eating these food, but i think your body can handle it if you unknowingly injest it once in a while.

lol, "seasoning" is on that list

You're obviously not intolerant to it.

"Carrageenan " I think this is the stuff that's in most of the heavy whipping cream sold in stores.

We have two members of our family that are allergic to MSG. There are over 40 different names it hides under. It's in almost everything packaged. We eliminated almost all processed foods years ago! However, we replaced it with many home baked whole grain things.

You know every time we fly to the U.S we nearly always take American Airlines, well I always had massive swollen ankles and a puffy face when I got off the plane, but this time we took Aer Lingus from Dublin and I wasn't puffy in the slightest. it then occurred to me that AA must season their food with MSG.

Yet another great reason to make your own food from actual ingredients!

New rule: If it has a label, it isn't food.

Yeah, I'm very sensitive to MSG, so I've eliminated practically all processed foods, and I try not to eat salads in restaurants because they often treat their greens with the stuff (as I've found when I 'reacted').

Ironically, my sensitivity to MSG has driven me to healthier eating with the elimination of processed foods. Whenever I'm tempted by something, I consider the danger--and it's easy to pass.

wow - that's amazing! when i read fast food nation, i was shocked to discover that anything with the words "natural flavors/flavoring" is still a chemical & comes from the same place as "artifical flavoring," the chemical just came from something that's natural. gross!

My husband has found that he can have the romaine salad at Chipolte and spinach at Subway and elsewhere. He also reacts to most restaurant lettuce.
