    Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

    Oh, my story....well like most of you, I am a diet freak! I obsess on food......and diets, read millions of books, rarely lose weight, but sometimes do, then gain back, etc. I need to lose 30 lbs. Been needin' to do that for decades now...I'm 62, an artist, a grandma, (unlike Sir Grandma, more power to him!) and am not naturally inclined toward exercize. What's new, huh?

    I am fond of Dr. Sears and the Zone, Dr. D'Adamo and the blood type diet, and now this! This is really interesting!

    Of course back in the day I was vegetarian for 25 years...!!! (almost killed myself off!)

    wellll, I am kinda eating primal! I have forsworn grains, but cheated on tortilla chips at a party.....but really, now, I am not gonna eat grains!!!! Or beans! But dairy? It's touch and go.....I love dairy and I know lotsa folks eat it on these forums.....so we'll see. Thanks for asking. I love almond butter....hope I don't overdo it.

    Oh, and letsee, I had 2 scrambled eggs with pesto for Brk. ...it's really good! Lunch was kinda iffy....dark chocolate bar, cold chicken leg, pint of deli coleslaw, hmmm, not that bad. Dinner was wild salmon in a sauce I blended up (pineapple, tamari, sesame oil, cherry juice) and salad. So today was not bad.....maybe I should take the challenge....

    If you make Sir Grandma too buttery, someone here will probably take a bite out of him!

    The "Seven Deadly Sins"

    Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc) . . . . . Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant etc)
    Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc) . . . Refined foods (salt/sugars etc )
    Legumes (soy/beans/peas etc)
