I just came across this interesting article on the release of toxins during weight loss. According to the article, there is an increase in circulating toxins during weight loss.

I often read from people that they experience variable energy during this woe. Perhaps the release of these chemicals into the blood stream cause fatigue, etc during weight loss. Personally, I felt great at the very beginning of eat PB. My energy dropped though after a couple of weeks, still better than eating before primal, but not the oodles of energy I had in the beginning. I wonder if part of this is that once I started loosing weight, my body had to deal with additional detox work?

Any thoughts on ways to speed this process?
