Don't laugh, I know this isn't the toughest workout

But I started doing Walk Away the Pounds today LOL. My belly has popped and I need to find something to do inside since it is like 15 degrees outside and also something that doesn't require too much twisting and turning. I can't keep up with some of the other aggresive dvd's I used to do, so Leslie Sansone brings it on for this preggo. It actually wasn't so bad it kept my heart rate right in the range, so I guess it can officially qualify as moving frequently at a slow pace

Other than that things are good, got to see the baby on Monday, they changed my due date again, we are back to July 31st. Morning sickness has gone, but fatigue is still around and now insomnia too, but at least I am accomplishing a lot while I am burnnig the midnight oil. Seems kind of an ironic that I am tired and can't sleep, oh the joys of pregnancy.

Good on you for keeping up the exercise during your pregnancy.
My whole life, I've felt like an animal......but I've ignored my instincts. I ignored what I really am. That will never happen again.

Walking is great for pregnancy. Ive been doing my daily walks around my property, its not quite as cold here as it is where you are. About 45-50 during the day. The uphill starts really killing u though, all I have to say is wait til your halfway thru your 2nd tri, really try and watch your back and pelvis. They can get hurt very easily!!

Hey I do Walk Away the Pounds workouts if I don't get a walk in during the day. It's easy to pop in a video and gets my heartrate right where it should be for moving slowly.

I did those when I was at 330 and couldn't walk outside for the pain. Not the most strenuous, but every little bit helps.

Hehe, well I wasnt aware this wasnt your first pregnancy. It's mine, and noone told me I could hurt myself so easily! I threw my back out for a week I couldnt move or sit up or eat, just lay on my left side, because I pushed a couch around the house. Then I went for a really long hike - I was enjoying it and it was a beautiful day - but by about the 2/3 mark my pelvis was wrecked - I felt like I was gonna drop the baby out and I was all out of whack down there. Had to make the last 1/3 to get back to the house. So at least now I know I gotta take it easier on the uphill downhill stuff.
SO frustrating too because I'm usually so active and strong. I feel weak and pathetic lol (but i shouldnt because carrying and making a baby is work enough!)

I didnt' lose weight doing WATP, but I did tone my thighs. I think it's a great light workout.

Oh no that stinks!! I am so guilty of doing things like that too, like moving heavy furniture....I am trying to restrain myself, I too have always been active and I hate waiting for the husband to come home when I need something. I guess I will have to learn patience.

Yeah I wouldn't want to lose weight really right now anyway, I just want to stay moving without hurting myself until the baby comes.
