What I learned with my bout of IBS is that when your stomach starts to have issues with digesting foods it is because your system is so worn down and "broken" that it can't process foods anymore. This is why people obsess over "trigger foods" but the truth is that our stomach/digestive system can heal on its own if we leave it alone just like our skin or bones can regenerate themselves.
