    Paleo Approved Label

    Shop Now
I just came across this website: http://paleoapproved.com/

Wouldn't it be cool if grocery stores carried meats (and possibly other products) that are paleo approved?

I have a feeling that would just lead to laziness. Better to educate yourself and judge foods individually.

*notes that there is ONE place that comes up on the approved list*

I think I'll pass. I'll just *gasp* check into my own food.

Plus the label wouldn't reproduce well with flexo printing at small sizes...it'd be better if it was a solid black arrowhead (pointing up) with the P reversed out in white...probably with no yellow at all. Just sayin'...

The problem I see with it is that it then becomes a marketing tool. Just like the fact that 'Organic' is now managed by the government and no longer means what it originally did. Or you can buy a box or 'organic' fruit loops. So I vote 'NO' for a 'paleo approved' label!

I'm on the fence about it. Yeah, it might lead to laziness, but then again it might intrigue some people to look into this "paleo label" and wonder why THIS food has the label but THAT food doesn't. And that might enlighten more people about their food choices.

    Maybe...

Yes, but in reality, it would be approved by who??? I don't know if you have this in the US but in Australia we have 'The Heart Foundation Tick'. It is displayed on foods that are supposedly healthier choices. The foods are often low saturated fat items that are full of grains and sugar. Trust no-one!
