Twibble- I've been trying out an eyemask because of the light from the alarm clock and from the bathroom indiglo plugin. It's really been helping me, especially with the whole needing to make 6 hours a night COUNT. I have noted that my thyroid seems to be behaving better AND that it's been helping my anxiety. YMMV, of course, but you might try that in addition to the curtains. It took both, for me.

Might test it out, but I hate having things on my head when I'm trying to sleep. I flipped a towel over the alarm clock, at least...

We have the alarm clock flipped over. The cable box in the room sometimes bothers me. I'm just not sure how I will like sleeping with something on my face.

I'm not big on having things on my face (I've woken up several times and apparently taken it off during the night), but once I get it positioned correctly, it doesn't bother me (enough to cause problems.)

Found the book last night (Convict Conditioning) and another one that looks just as interesting (Naked Warrior) both by the same publishers ... and cheaper on their site than on Amazon. Plan to get one ordered this week ... thanks so much for letting me know about it !

    Glad you're enjoying.

There's a new deli in town called the Smiling Moose. We got sandwiches there for lunch. They have GF bread.

I sooooo want to take a nap now. Apparently whatever is in it messed with my blood sugar big time. I've sent an email to the company asking what was in it.

I think I'm behaving and getting a salad next time...

Hmmm...I haven't taken my usual vitamins/supplements since the weekend. I should make sure I do that at lunch and see if it helps. Maybe that's why I'm so tired. I have to be awake for my steak dinner tonight.

    Steak?
And do take your supps. Those can make a huge difference. So do allergy meds.
