    Primal-friendly Fast Food--with Integrity!

    Primal Fuel
Chipotle gets high marks from me for selling 100% pastured pork, 100% free-range chicken and 85% grass-fed beef. They are starting to source locally and I had the most delicious meal there (in Portland) earlier this year.

Any other fast food restaurants moving in this direction?

LOL when I looked at the Chipotle restaurant finder it told me to move! I figure any time I eat out I am getting some bad stuff. I just try to pick as healthy as I can not worry about it.

What do you think they mean by 85% grass fed beef? I love Chipotles but don't eat there often - hope it is Primal.

I don't know of ANY other fast food, here in Va. anyway, that would be considered primal, mainly because of the source of meat.

I <3 chipotle but we don't have any close by. I have to admit that we don't eat out all that often, the last time we ate out was at Wegmans last Sunday LOL and well that is a food store so I went for the burrito salad sans beans and it was goooooood.

85% of their beef comes from 100% grass-fed cattle as of the end of 2010. They are aiming for 100%.

are you sure it means that? aren't cows fed grass most of their lives then "grain finished" to put on weight before they are slaughtered? and their pork is pastured? where is the info on this, i can't imagine it is cost effective at all, knowing the cost difference.

chipotle also cooks everything in soybean oil. I'd rather eat grains and sugar than an otherwise primal meal cooked in that shit.
