    No, if you were a wimp, you would not have signed up for this challenge in the first place. You CAN do this. *cracks whip*

    I have but I am slightly ADD so I don't read through the whole thing and honestly, I despise reading ebooks more than real books and don't have a working computer. I never get to the park enough on a regular basis to do this. That is why I am getting a pull up bar for home but it has to wait until next weekend.

    Much to my surprise she agreed right away! it was funny cus without context I said to her "hey, how would you feel about making a video with me for the internet?" and she was like "... porn?!..." then I explained a little and since she's got a background in production (if any of you guys are into ghost shows, she was an assistant producer on Ghost Lab which I believe is still airing on Discovery Channel) she thought I wanted her to help me film and edit, but then I told her I wanted her to be the star and she was pumped for it. "Did I show you something different this morning that you wanna show them?!" and I said "yeah your negatives are bad ass and I have some ideas for progressions that I want to see if you can do that way they know some bad ass chick out there is working hard to get a pull up"

    So, systems are go we just have to figure out when we can do it. I have family over this weekend, so most likely sometime next week.

    Huzzah! I am so stoked to see this vid, whenever it happens.

    I used the front pegs on my pullup bar today, and was able to do much slower, much more controlled negatives. I only did three, and then about 10 leg-assisted regular pullups, because today was a karate day and I can't afford to be off my form for that right now. I am feeling the lats work!

    But did she agree to that?

    No seriously, sounds great! Tell her we said thank you in advance. What she can already do is inspirational!

    @geostump:
    At the playground, you can also work on Australian pull-ups. If waist high is too tough for now, find a bar that is chest high. You WILL work the muscles that need to be worked, even at chest high. You'll feel it the next day. (If anyone else has access to a gym, you can do these on the Smith machine.)
