Dear Mark, When does a seed become a plant? Aka - sprout wonderings

Mark, I've been sprouting seeds for salads for a long time. I find I like them best when they very first germinate, before they get all long and thready... which got me wondering - are my sprouts grains or vegetables? I'm guessing the cole vegetables (broccoli, etc) are less carby than wheat or beans might be, but I'm curious about the official primal take on sprouts in general.
    Thanks -

I hope someone can answer this~I am wondering the same thing. I've been avoiding sprouts just in case, but I do love them!

Aweeesome question! Sprouts are totally loaded with tons of nutrients and are a lot of fun to sprout yourself. Also great for your budget. I hope Mark picks this one up!
