I am trying to give some advice on how to boost one's fat consumption, and was wondering if anyone knows of any sides that could help this purpose.

Think something that could be served along with a steak and salad, for example.

    Any ideas?

    Bacon!

Just kidding. Well, sort of I usually just slather some butter on my steak and do an oil based dressing for my salad (walnut oil or olive oil base), which lends a lot of fat to the meal. An herbed butter goes really nicely on a steak as well, just butter whipped with whatever herbs you'd like. Some people would be less averse to it that way, to start off I think.

I usually go for the caramelized onion approach...sauteed in butter of course!

Guacamole to throw on the steak maybe?

I'm a big fan of toasted almonds in my salads.

I've also got a recipe for a mustard/almond butter salad dressing that I should probably post. (sounds funky but it's superb). It's pretty much 100% good fat.

    I grok, therefore I am.

Broccoli sautee'ed in olive oil and drizzled with brown butter, then sprinkled with mizithra cheese. OM NOM NOM.
