The weightloss goal setting was just a lark. The Wii Fit expects you to set them and that is the average setting. Nothing bad happens if you don't reach your goal. You just set another. I do not expect to lose anything over the holidays, just stay clean.

Canio is reading my mind. Same thing I was going to quote. It must make you smile to have your 'mom' throwing you hula hoops.

And I think it is a great idea to set a holiday goal of eating Primal or dropping three pounds. It will help avoid the 'screw it, I'll do it after New Year's' attitude that is so easy to slip into. Even if you slip, you might end up at New Year's Day with 8 good days under your belt, instead of none. And your body will be happier for it.

That's my story, and I'm stick' to it!

So this morning the Wii Fit said my Wii Fit age was 35. Meaning I am in great shape for my age.

This afternoon, I went to give a birthday gift to a male theater friend who is turning 30 on Friday. He was down about where his life is at, at this time. I tried to comfort him by saying "Yes, these milestone birthdays can be tough. 40 wasn't bad, but 45 was depressing." He said, "Was? as in past tense?" I told him that I am 46. He was in shock. He said that he figured I was closer to 40 and only because I have an 18 yr old.

Damn, this Primal thing really works!

Isn't it fun when people are shocked at your age! I love that! My entire office guessed me to be about 35-40 when I told them I was 52 all mouths dropped open! I can't wait to see what my age is guessed once I reach my health and fitness goals.

People will be guessing your 30 and can't figure out how you have such grown kids!!

Yes it is fun. I've been mistaken for my sister's daughter. She's two years older than me.

On Thanksgiving I/we met a niece's boyfriend. He was shocked when he heard I was the oldest sister in attendance and almost fell off his chair when I said I'd be 57 in December.

Yesterday was one of those lovely days full of precious moments.

The highlight last night was when I joined my son and his chorus on stage to sing "The Hallelujah Chorus". Amazingly, I was able to hit all the high notes.

And probably didn't even need to bust a toe to get up that high!
