It turns out, that some of my headache is caffeine withdrawal. My SIL likes really strong coffee. I probably drank 1-2 cups more /day than usual at double strength. Today I slept in and woke up with the headache. I had my first cup of coffee at 10:30 am. That first cup took the edge off, so I am currently having # 2. I haven't eaten yet. Nauseous.

    feel better.

Jump back into your routine and those pesky pounds will melt away - I'm sure they are mostly inflammation from eating things that are crappy.

    my motivation

Things I choose to let go:

    All grains - including rice
    Refined sugars
    Legumes - including peanut butter
    Nuts and nut butters
    Alcohol and soda
    Chocolate
Acidic foods, such as pineapple and tomato
    Coffee and tea
    Eggs
    Curry
    White potato
    Dairy - including butter

I'm choosing to do this......... I don't HAVE to.

I'm doing this because I'm worth it - because I'm worthy - because I love myself.

Oh, yikes. Here's hoping your head feels better.
As opposed to beating yourself up, try seeing it like this: there is really only one day a year that is devoted to gluttony. You enjoyed your gluttony and found out why it doesn't work to do it all the time. Hence, it's easier to hop back on your program that you know works. So long as you fully enjoyed those meals, there is nothing to beat yourself up about.

Good morning. I am grateful today that I do not have a headache. I have learned that when traveling, I need to be cautious of dehydration. I drank way too much coffee and too little water. Then I opened the door to bad eating on Thanksgiving. This set me up for a big crash which resulted in 2 days of binging.

Today, I am back to my normal routine. I have a lot of prep to do today for NYC. Yesterday was a bust due to the migraine. I'll check in later.

Does it count as bingeing if it happens at Thanksgiving? Isn't it just called 'eating hearty' over those days? (Please, please!)
