I just got a head's up from a co-worker she is bringing stuff in tomorrow.

I am making the cake bites, they are all rolled and just have to be dipped. I am putting some out for tonight, then taking them with me to the beach, then, now here is evil for you...I am going to give them to co-workers after Christmas at our annual meeting. Because no-one is in the office this week, so I am going to test everyone's New Year's Resolution. They all have kids though, and the bites are freezable, and there are only 9 in a box-and it takes at least 6 to equal a small piece of cake, so not too bad.

I try to get that stuff out of my house as fast as I can. Not that I can't resist it - I can and do - but it's easier if it's not in sight. Frozen also helps... In a real binge that wouldn't stop me, but if I was on the brink, it would give me serious pause. I also tend to forget what I have in the freezer

Brussel Sprouts? No way. For me chips and cookies. Sweet then salty crunchy. Repeat until exhausted.

I made a total of 7 dozen cookies since last night. A little over half of that is going to work with me today for my co-workers. I'm actually a really good baker so its sad that after I had one of each type I made(only 3), I am done eating them.

At least a part of the weight I gained while being a vegetarian was from trying to find the perfect recipes for cake bites when I thought I would start a business from home. I am pretty much done with baking.

Raw brussell sprouts, fresh off the stalk dipped in home made ranch dressing, totally primal. My dd and I finished the entire stalk in one sitting. Luckily we have several bathrooms in our home!

I actually LOVE brussells sprouts...and this time of year, fresh off the stem...oh yum. I could totally see how that could happen (or browned with some sea salt...oh my). I was so sad, the sprouts looked terrible at the store this week. The frozen just aren't anywhere near as good!
