Well it is a long 2 month wait for the anniversary get away. We are going on Dec. 3rd and 4th. But I'll be sure to have fun when it happens.

So the Leptin Reset is going very well, but I have concluded that I am eating way too much processed meat at breakfast. I am also using cheese as a filler. I was on Kalli's journal and she mentioned turkey burgers with 35g of protein. I'll have to look for those.

Eventually, I want to be mostly clean Paleo in my eating. So my goal is to replace processed meats and cheese with more real meat. My whey protein shake will prevent me from ever being truly Paleo, but I see that as necessary for reaching my goal of 70grams of protein.

I think he will now work harder to pick out my anniversary band. I have set him a pretty difficult challenge...get me a meaningful ring within a strict spending limit.

The trip is a gift for both of us, of course.

Maybe if you made a big batch of fresh sausage, (ground meats and spices basically) you could freeze it in patties and have one or two for breakfast instead of the processed stuff?

Easy to do and it tastes better too!! You could even use ground turkey to make turkey sausage as well if you were looking for a protein boost.
