    Hi Pebbles,

    That a**hole at your gym had no point. Nope, none. I am so proud of you for sticking up for yourself and I'm glad that you have a good friend like Joe. I would have cried, too - but I probably would have been too chicken to go back for awhile.

    I've really been enjoying your journal - I'm only about 1/4 the way through, but especially reading about your first few months and about how you've overcome challenges has been very helpful. Your honesty as well as your ability to get back on the wagon every time is really much more inspiring than hearing about someone who never struggled at all. (And I imagine everyone struggles in different ways...we just don't always hear about it.) It makes reading about your triumphs that much sweeter.

    Sweet Pickles Thanks for reading. I think more of us struggle than actually admit it - especially the MDA women. Hormones etc.

    Wow, people are showering in my journal. So exciting. Thus far I have done my exercises, gone to church and shopped for a few food items. I am resting now. House cleaning next. The bills may need to wait until tomorrow.

    Wt. 215.2 +.6 I ate fine. Party tonight. I'll have to behave.

    Prayers needed today for our dog Petey. He is a 10 yr old weimaraner who has a major problem with fatty tumors. He will have surgery today to remove several of them.

    The good news is that Petey is now on a grain free diet and loving it. He kept coming into the kitchen today and looking at me with longing. Of course, he can't eat before his surgery.

    That guy was definitely out of line! I probably would've ended up in tears too, I tend to cry when I'm frustrated. I think you handled the situation really well, all things considered.

    * Gym Trainer*

    It's so funny, I bet you guys are picturing a big muscle head. Actually, the guy is a normal looking guy in his 40's with salt and pepper hair and a fit but not ripped body. I had heard he could be jerk, but up until Sat he was always nice to me. I wonder if my husband will see him at the gym today.

    my dh is totally non-combative, it would not occur to him to be upset at the guy. To be fair, I can have an explosive personality and dh figures I do a great job of handling things like that, and often sends me in to argue situations because he knows I won't hit or get hit and I can be a bulldog, I don't let go till I get what I want. I would have eventually shot back at the guy like you did, but doubt I would have gone back to finish my workout. Cudos to ya for going to class afterward.
