P, not really conversant with your education system, but can the kids take a retest, or is it course work type stuff? Either way, it sucks?

And that far away for retesting really serves these kids, jeeze! Our high school has a second chance week the week after school ends. Basically, kids that fail by like 5 pts or less can do this intensive week on the subject and then get credit for the course. This is separate from summer school and I believe costs nothing. You can only do it for one class, but it makes a world o difference for kids like the two you mentioned.

That is a great idea mudflinger.

They allowed us to do a second look regrade after all. My 2 and another teacher's student now have 65 on the exam and will get credit. Phew!

    my motivation

Things I choose to let go:

    All grains - including rice
    Refined sugars
    Legumes - including peanut butter
    Nuts and nut butters
    Alcohol and soda
    Chocolate
Acidic foods, such as pineapple and tomato
    Coffee and tea
    Eggs
    Curry
    White potato
    Dairy - including butter

I'm choosing to do this......... I don't HAVE to.

I'm doing this because I'm worth it - because I'm worthy - because I love myself.

    Happy happy summer to you!

Good news on the two kids, at least!

Can't imagine the stresses involved in teaching and I know a couple of teachers! But enjoy your summer and reboot the system.

    Heads up Karin!

When my husband got home from work early this AM I got up to spend some time with him. He was happy and animated, telling me stories about his new job. We talked, laughed and ...until I finally fell back to sleep at 2:30AM. Who is this new man I have?

Our precious first born son Billy graduates from HS today. We are so proud.

1/2 day today. 4 more hours of work until summer vaca begins.
