Last night was my son Billy's last concert and the last time my sons will play onstage together in the concert band. Our music program was recently declared one of the best in the United States. The music was amazing. Mike also sings in the chorus. He put on quite a theatrical performance.
Band for Billy was not love. He started making noise about quitting in tenth grade, but we gave him a choice. "Band is one credit a year and Math is one credit a year. Choose your poison." He had accelerated out of math by the end of 10th grade. Anyway, he chose Band. I'm sure he is feeling celebratory today and will rejoice when I return his instrument at the end of this month.
I am still doing well with eating and exercise. My watch is spinning on my wrist. : )
Good work miss flintstone!
No, but I am thinking a Wonder Woman watch may be in order for my birthday in August.
My watch is actually one of those metal clip ones that are a pain to adjust so I will just let it spin for the month as a reminder of the good work I am doing.
OMG Dave, It slides an inch so far. Great idea!
I hate Whole 30 perfectionists. Every time someone posts their mess ups, one particular person suggests they wait until they are ready to do a clean W30 or start over tomorrow. I am venting here to avoid saying anything to her on the w30 thread.
Technically she is correct, but the only people that should give that advice are Melissa and Dallas.
But wouldn't they say the same thing?
Argh disregard my comment, I'm blonde.
I feel ya. I think the attempt is SO important. Sympathy and support is all I really want from one of those threads, if I'm participating.
