W30 Day 3 is done. It was an Up Day as far as 5:2 is concerned. Today is a Down Day.

I had a great day as far as food and exercise were concerned. Went to cardio kick and worked out until I was exhausted. During stretching at the end, I was able to do something new. You know the runner's stretch where you grab your ankle and stretch your leg behind you? well usually I have to hook my fingers in the heel of my shoe and hold a pole for balance. Last night I did it; I grabbed my ankle and stayed balanced on my own. My thought was "Wow, my ankles feel skinny." Lol

Not sure why they are called Australian pull up. They are also known as inverted rows.

Oh pull ups! I read it as push ups. Oops. Lol Although I've always called them chin ups, and I can't even do 1!

These are a precursor to pull ups. You use a waist height bar straiten your body under it to a 45 degree angle and pull your chest to the bar.

As far as I know, a chin up is when your palms are facing towards you and engage the bicep more, where as a pull up has your palms facing away from you and engages more of the back.

I am just learning all of this, but I have yet to do my first chin up. Aiming for one by the end of summer. The pull up...someday.

My OD is pushing me to try a pull-up/chin-up and bets I can do some... I haven't tried. They still intimidate me.
