    Yes Fitness 666 is hard, but also rewarding and mentally easy to do. It is 4-5 exercises, 6 sets, 6 reps, 3x a week. I already feel a difference after the first week.

    New Habits

    This morning I taped a card over my scale display that says. "Hi Sexy, You are not this number. Check back on July 1st." I did not remove the batteries nor do I plan to have someone hide it.

    It has been my habit to weigh early in the morning without clothes and then look at the physical changes in my full length mirror. (Yes, I admire my naked self.) Yesterday, I wrote a mantra to help me let go of the scale part of that ritual.

    I am beautiful
    I am sexy
    I am healthy
    I am strong
    I am going to kick ass today.

    This morning, I noticed that I have developed those sexy lower back dimples...can't wait for my husband to get home so that I can show him.

    Holy Cr@p! Nobody Breathe.....My husband just said that he wants to try to do the Whole 30 with me. He said that he will do the best he can. That would make him Primal. Lol He wants me to print the list of what he can't eat.

    He starts his new job on Monday with 1 week of orientation.

    That new job appears to be making a huge difference.

    The first time DH did W30 with me, I had to bend a few rules for him...I made him "muffins" (no added sugar, so technically compliant, but not really), "ice cream" (frozen mangos with coconut milk), etc. He wasn't 100% compliant, but it helped him immensely with the transition. And he still saw tremendous results.

    Jealous on the husband joining................ but REALLY happy for you both! I write this as my husband is sitting next to me drinking his Mocha Frappuccino from Dutch Brothers.............. UGH!

    I got a little wrapped up in my life and even neglected my own (only very new) journal. I got a little off track almost every day which is why I've decided to do the Whole 30. So coming on here today and seeing that your hubby has agreed to do it is quite exciting. Lol

    We shall see...He has expressed interest before and then, nothing.

    Day 1 went well, but not perfectly. Husband didn't want to cook, so we went out to eat. I avoided the bad oils, but had 1/2 a white potato & butter. I honestly forgot that white potato was a no. I also discovered that my Coconut Milk has sulfites.

    IMO it was still a valid W 30 day, so on to Day 2. I just need to remember that little foibles like this could effect my overall results.
