What am I doing? Depends on the day.
Earlier, I started to write an explanation of our speedy trip back and forth to DE and then decided not to waste energy on it. Family drama, financial issues, same old stuff. Our immediate family is fine. We all got a lot of sleep in our own beds and are working around the house today and relaxing. This week will be busy, but hopefully less crazy than the last.
Today I am officially starting the "Fast Diet" or "5:2 Diet". I will be keeping it all Primal. 5 days eating around 2000 cals. and 2 fast days of 500 cals. In addition, I will be concentrating on eating a balanced amount of vitamin K containing foods daily in order to keep my blood clotting factor level. My fast days this week will be Tuesday and Thursday. I will weigh once a week on Friday mornings.
Starting WT. 223.4, same as last Friday
I am still riding a confidence high from Friday night. My husband and sons think that I will be very difficult to live with from now on.
Next on Bucket list. Join a band and play real gigs around the Hudson Valley. Friday just whetted my appetite. Lol

I hope the 5:2 works well for you, Pebbles. My daughter is trying it also, now that her AP tests are over. Today is her first Down Day. I cut up a bunch of vegetables for her, and was amazed(or do I mean, amaxed?) at how much bulk there is in just 120K. She loves crunching on raw veggies, so that, plus a little protein via egg and salmon, is her plan.
I hope so too Sabine. I figured out that constant NK and even periodic daily full fasts are unsafe for me due to how it effects my clotting level. I am hoping to have as much success on 5:2 as on NK while being more careful about my health. It will be interesting to see how 5:2 effects the binging.

Omg! I love you guys. Thanks for the grin.
The interesting thing for me with the 5:2 and binging is that it hasn't happened. Now I have done some serious overeating. But no binging yet.
