It is about 1400-1600 cals which is a regular lchf day for me. I am not doing the JUUDD eat to TDEE plan for UDs. I'm going to eat until I am satisfied.

Oh and you didn't warn me that my digestion would suddenly start working again and I would need to run to the bathroom.

Interesting. I didn't know that your normal lchf was so low. I would have thought higher, since you are tall.

As long as you MADE it To the bathroom, all's good!

the lchf after a fast should keep you close to the bathroom as well, forewarned is forearmed.

calories I started lowering my calories for lchf when I lowered protein. Unfortunately, that resulted in weightloss. Which may prove CICO is true for me. I do not do this as a sustained program. There are always higher cal days that happen in lchf. I will also have some higher cal days later in the month when I add carbs to try and survive my period.

While I think that CICO is technically true, I think the devil is in the details...ie. not being able to actually know how the body uses calories, the body adjusting to the lower calories, the body craving food to offset the lower calories, the body craving food to offset lower nutrients, etc.

I think that in the end it is about getting a program that will allow you to comfortably lower your calories with out the body sending you into a binging frenzy. I still personally believe that the binge is the body's way of fulfilling a need (which is sometimes emotional and sometimes physical)

I think you just won the wisest post of the week award.
somehow I manage to leave my intelligence and decorum at the door wherever I go. I doubt your journal will be an exception to that - not on the rug

Stayed home fro school. My ear pain turned out to be an infection. I am on amoxicillin for 10 days.

To top it off, a slight groin pull I had been suffering all week turned into a full blown injury. I can't walk. I am going to the DR or ER today for anti inflammatory meds.

Wt. 217.5 Though it doesn't matter because I ate a 1/4 of a gallon of ice cream at 5 am. Tired, in pain and can't eat real food. I am very upset.

oh no!!! I hope the groin injury isn't real serious and you can get relief soon. So sorry you are sick with an ear infection. Take care of you and feel better.
