No. They are following tradition and using a man. I see my friend Rich as Edna or Wilbur Turnblad.

Yes, a few of the Musical's songs were cut to make time for more dialogue, but otherwise follows pretty closely.

215.8 Interesting that I am not gaining with TTOM.

Call backs are mid morning. Wish I had slept better. Excitement always gets me. I am trying not to have expectations. I have no idea who showed up for the role I want yesterday. I have to remember that I will love working with this group in any capacity.

Yesterday was very relaxing. I hung out with my family. Hubs and I watched an episode of Game of Thrones season 2, we did a little housekeeping and even got a nap in.

You are going to ROCK the audition. And, no matter what happens, you are making awesome progress - 2 call backs!

The call back was over 3 hrs long. I sang and acted well. I am proud of my work. The strange thing is that there were two other actresses up for the role of Velma. Both of them were under 30, one was no more than 25. I will be somewhat disappointed if I get pushed out by youngsters for a role of a 45-55 yr old woman.

Hopefully you'll hear something soon and yes, I would be upset if I didn't get the role of Velma either considering the age difference.

In one of your earlier posts, you mentioned the exact reason why I got out of acting. I don't do well with rejection. It brings up all the words of "you just aren't good enough"; "not pretty enough"; or "not thin enough". I can't put myself through that anymore.

I get it Geo. I wonder how I will feel if this one doesn't go well.

P you are awesome! Think about what you did this week...you had a lousy experience and one small food glitch, turned around and lost 4 lbs, gained an amazingly positive attitude and went back into the same situation that you faced earlier..I call that brave, courageous and just effin rockin! Whether or not you get Velma will not change that.
You know all those things you wanted to do: You should go do them.

    Age 48
    height 5'3
    SW 215 lbs
CW 180 lbs (whole foods/primal eating)
    LW 172 lbs
    GW 125ish lbs

    215.8 same.

As they say, "The waiting is the hardest part". As I look back at the auditions, I don't see how I could have done better. So, self torture is at a minimum.

Waiting on my period as well, it was due Saturday. This is the cycle where I started taking the "change o life" so I wonder if that has something to do with it. Some of these types of supplements are not to be taken for the first 5 days of the cycle, but this one does not say that. No, not pregnant and all signs are there. Cranky, weepy, crampy etc.

Monday, may you be fast and painless.
