Today my husband and I saw the current Coach House production "Over the River and Through the Woods" Several of my "Lust n Rust" friends were in it. Other friends were in attendance including the two men who auditioned for J & H with me yesterday. The guys were interested in hearing about my conversation with the director. Afterwards my husband and I hit Boitson's restaurant. I had a glass of red wine and the charcuterie plate. It was definitely a higher day in calories, carbs, protein and fat, but I planned it that way.

I had a wonderful weekend full of theater and dear friends. I am a lucky girl. Second auditions for J & H are happening now. I am trying to be patient and stay hopeful but getting prepared for a let down if it comes.

All in all, sounds like a great weekend and you sound very pleased about it. That's what counts!

Weight holding at 219.7 after a dinner out.

I received the following email last night...

"If you are receiving this, I would like you to attend the callback on Monday evening at 7pm. I know, previously I have spoken to a few of you and said I didn’t need to see anymore, but I have changed my mind.

Please reply to me so that I know you have received this.

Thank you so very much for auditioning and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening. You do not need to have anything new prepared, just be prepared to learn some music and perhaps some scene work.

    Thank you again!!!!"

So, tonight I will go and fight for the role of Lucy. Prayers and good thoughts appreciated.

I am as ready as I can possibly be. I know all of her songs and have read the script. I have been practicing my London street accent. Lucy is supposed to be a prostitute /entertainer who is trying to improve herself and her life so she tries to speak in a refined manner, but sometimes slips into her street accent when stressed.

BTW, this has to be the longest school day ever. My head is just not in the game.

And worse, when I went to the faculty lounge a "friend " had left a cake and cookies. I was alone with them for 30 minutes and ignored them, but God the urge to eat them was strong.

....but you were stronger. Good going.
Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.
