Just got home from "Les Miserable" It was stunning. They actually built up the stage so that they could have the turn table like the broadway production. I'm not sure how I can treat the lead actor (Jean Valjean) who is in my 8th period class as just a kid anymore. He was just amazing.

I have lost 3.5 lbs in 2 days. Since I only cut calories by 500, this must be somewhat due to dropping dairy and artificial sweeteners. So far so good.

No. But Dr. Rosedale says one should limit saturated fat for the first 3 to 4 weeks until well into fat burning mode. His theory is that your body is trying to burn its own sat fat, so adding sat fat in the diet is unhelpful and might even hinder weightloss. Trying it out even though I am not sure I believe it.

So what fat would you recommend for cooking with if Butter & CO are out & EVOO is not an option for cooking?

I am still using butter and CO. I figured cutting all my other dairy would make enough of a difference. In total, I am eating 1 tbsp CO and 2 Tbsp butter daily.
