    lowest I can go and still Get my macros right is 1600, which is 10% below my bmr.

    For me, the only way Dr. Ede's numbers would be worth it is if I get a cancer diagnosis. As part of a comprehensive treatment plan I think it is totally doable, as an experiment on losing weight I think it is too extreme, at least for me!

    I have not started the blood monitor yet. I will do it on Monday morning, as well as all my measurements, including the BF% from my regular scale (it can do it but is a pain in the butt). That way if the DEX I get actually does BF too, I will have comparison numbers. I will do the blood monitor on Monday mornings through March. In April, when the college visits are done I will start daily. The ketostix don't seem to work for me either.

    No, I don't have to do the DEX scan often. The last bone scan was several years ago, not sure if it was a DEX or not though. When I have to get the next one will be determined by the results of this one.

    1130 cals 46g protein. I make sure I hit these targets as an average over the week but some days it has been just under 1000 & others just over 1200 (never over 49g protein though). macro P16-C2-F82

    Paula, are you sure about the weight you posted? I thought you had reported 225. The latest says 251.

    Oops, Thanks honeybuns. Lol That would have been some party...

    Well the gym effectively ate all the glycogen from the fruit last night.
    I worked chest for 30 min. Did 30 min of walking and then did 1 hr of cardio kick.

    ok.. this must have been what I was reading about when I was cutting my calories. I am trying to get into ketosis and struggling. I was IN ketosis when I was low calorie, low carb and protein, high fat. Maybe I need to monitor blood sugars to see what throws me in and out of ketosis??
