i love fluffy whiteness. so pretty. i should stock up on frozen food so we won't *have to* leave the house often.
I hope you're safe and warm up there. If you took an pics of the snow, post them. I'm still watching leaves fall.

This snow is so strange. The leaves are falling on top of it so it looks confetti covered. We had about ten inches. Power went out at 8pm. I was glad my husband called in to say he couldn't get to work. This afternoon we took the kids out to barnes & noble (for free wifi and charging toys) then dinner. The power was back on when we got home. Yay!
Glad to hear the power is back and that you survived the snow! Was worried about you guys

I so F@#$%^& hate Mondays. I always did but...My Mom died 3 weeks ago today. What the hell, how does life just keep going on?
I'm starting over again with the food. Two days of heavy binging after 4 days of clean Primal. It is also that TOM, so this is no surprise. I have read all of the threads on bingeing and female hormones, tried the recommendations and still nothing improves. Oh well. I willl go back to following the general LR protocol because I felt less crazed on that plan and lost weight in between binges.
Please don't feel the need to respond to this rant in any way. It's just how I am feeling in this moment and feelings change.
It's my journal and I'll cry if I want to.
*hugs*

So, is it Trick or Treating in the snow? Or don't your kids go at all? I remember so many years I had to wear a winter coat over my costume!
Our school district finally got smart, they have no school tomorrow (well the students anyway, it is probably a teacher conference day since report cards came home today)

Yes our Kevin (7 yrs old) was very excited to go "trick or treat". He was dressed as a knight. His escort was my 13 year old dressed as a cyclops that the knight had captured. My poor son Mike. He is only 13, but nearly 6 feet tall. Helping his brother is the only way he gets to go TOT anymore. My husband, eldest son and I walked along the road with them. We are one of those freeloading families that brings our kids to another town with neighborhoods. (We live in the woods) The temp was between 45 and 50 so most of the snow was gone. We had a great time.
We used to get quite a few van loads shipped into our neighborhood, for some reason this year and the last couple we have had none. I will just donate the bag of candy I bought for just in case.
