234.2 +5.5 from recent low. 4 lbs overnight. Fasting BS 117, A pre diabetic level that reflects my poor eating yesterday. It was normal yesterday morning (85)

Warning: Very technical stuff up in here.
I have a plan. I'm not giving up on HFLC yet.
I am doing a Fat Fast (90%) fat for the next 3-5 days. This will be the fastest way to re enter Ketosis after yesterday's mess. Thanks to a new poster in EMF thread, I found Ketosis Experiment Week 1 » Diagnosis: Diet
This doctor started her experiment on January 31st. She based her plan on the work of a cancer specialist. The recommendation of the cancer Dr. is a 3-5 day water fast to start, but that is for people who have been diagnosed with cancer. He believes the optimal body environment for the prevention/destruction of cancer is 55-65 fasting BS (very low) and 4.0 mmol. blood ketones(very high).

Conclusion: As you can see by my BS levels, binging is bad for me. I also experience many hyperglycemic symptoms such as extreme thirst, blurred vision etc whenever I binge. I was in ketosis during my 25 clean days, but maybe I had not reached a true, deep ketogenic state. I will report weight, BS and ketone levels (ketostix) as well as any other observations, here.

EDIT: I plan to stay very hydrated and have 1-2 bouillon serving / day. I will keep up My basic supplements and 5htp, plus l glutamine. The L-glutamine will be only in extreme cases because apparently cancer likes it as much as glucose as a food source.

I should not have written the above. I must be crazy. My husband came home all sweet and loving. No clue that his wife is trashing him on her journal. Maybe it's just me.

    Sorry, Everyone.

I did a modified FF (modified in that I was eating 1100-1200 calories - I could not have done 1000 while working and living with people). I think it did drop me into a deeper ketosis. Hydration is key. So is preplanning. I would never have made it without pre tracking - it's harder to get 90% fat than one might think

A double spammer, eh? How nice of them.

Sounds like a good plan, P. Good luck with it!

I think you mean 4.0mmol Probably a good idea, I think I learned a few things while doing my modified FF.

p.s. do you think that link is "1st page" worthy. Looks like great info.

Last night we had family movie night. I made stove top popcorn and we watched "Hotel Transylvania". We all loved it.

I am having a very positive day today. First I laid out my eating plan for the next few days. Then, I went through my dresser drawers which would not close and realized that I had never put away summer clothes. I had a small pile of donation stuff too. This allowed me to put away clothing that had been laying over a chair in my music space. Now I can reach both of my guitars, music stand and music. Ooops, I forgot to practice last night. I am getting a lot of laundry done as well.

Bill is sick today and sleeping a lot. He takes a med to lower his heart rate due to atrial fibrillation. It lowered his heart rate too much (close to 40bpm) Not a good day to talk with him about anything, so I will leave things alone.

Food - I had a BPC this morning. I have pre planned a small amount of salmon for dinner with curried vegetables. Another BPC and some macadamia nuts. I was aiming for 1000 cals (FF protocol), but that is impossible to do and still have a dinner with my family. So i should hit about 1200. I may have to go higher in cals tomorrow due to work.
