MFP News I wondered if it was something that I was eating every day that had been input incorrectly by another user rather than a general MFP error. I went through each meal and multiplied the fats by 9 and the carbs and protein by 4, then compared the total calories. There was something seriously wrong with lunch. I eat Philadelphia cream cheese every day. Apparently the entry I originally chose had 48g fat listed instead of 18. I chose the correct entry. Now my calories are within 20. This is great! Now I don't have to worry if I am eating too much.

Yes i have taken to checking the nutritional values before i add them to my diary for just that reason. On the other hand i dont sweat the calories so much.

Yeah. Sometimes I look and the calories and think - that SO can't be right. Usually the calories are way too low. Or, the calories look right on, but there are zeros for carbs, protein, fat - you know if has to have something

EMF Report I lost 1/2 a pound this week, 1 inch and .3% body fat. This week was all about my eating disorder. I survived a combo of my period, a cold, personal stress and 4 days of severe binge issues.

    I learned the following:
*It is OK to eat to the top of my calorie range if I need to.
*Keep that fat high (80% goal)
*Sleep is more important than most of us understand
*L-glutamine really does help the brain stop Jonesing for carbs.
*Once the above happens, then I am only dealing with desire. I am stronger than my desires. 23 days clean.

PS: Our $%^&*!@ Superintendent is making us come in for a half day. We are one of the only districts that are open this morning. Hope the snow holds off otherwise I could be dealing with a rough drive home.

Nice. I really need to pay attention to #3. Awesome job staying strong this last week. Stress, illness, and shark week - quite a lot to deal with.

So, here I am at school and the vibe is really weird. At least half the student population stayed home and many teachers called in as well. The Substitute Secretary is going crazy trying to get adults in the classrooms. They are paying us extra to work our prep periods. Those teachers that are here, look like they ran out of the house last minute without showering or doing hair and make up. Most are wearing sweatshirts and jeans. It is snowing lightly.
The Superintendent better hope this does not come back to bite him later.

Please pray that the buses make it home safely as well.

I'm guessing that not a whole lot of teaching is getting done today. It reminds me of the day before Thanksgiving when we of course have school. Yes, because I am going to do a full lesson plan for the 4 kids that show up.

So sorry P! It is days like this that show me the admin in most districts don't really seem to have the children's best interests at heart!

p.s. I am beginning to think that the sleep may be the final factor for most people with weight issues. In a sad sort of catch 22, where bad sleep causes the body to hold onto the fat and the fat causes sleep issues.
