We're pulling for you, Paula. You can make that 3 week mark, regardless of what that smooshed, smashed, ancient candy has to say. Chuck it in the dumpster.

    No Binge.
There is junk all over my house and even non junk that I could easily binge on. The candy is for my boys for Valentines Day. I wanted to buy it early so we didn't run out of money. Money fears=big stress

UGH! Today is my long Monday. Leave at 6:45am Work, Faculty Meeting, Run home for dinner, Fencing Club. Home at 9pm.
Probably why I emotionally wanted to binge last night.

Want to weigh so badly, but still in the middle of my period. Waiting for Friday morning.

    Have a great day!

Good job holding off on the weighing. It will be more satisfying on Friday.

I hadn't even thought about treats for the kids for Valentine's Day. Thanks for the reminder. Eldest's needs to be mailed, so I better get on it. Now to think of something which they will enjoy, but is not SO bad that I will feel guilty about buying it. Eldest doesn't really care for chocolate, so jerky plus a token amount of white chocolate(which he loves) will do, but the girls are all about chocolate. Perhaps a trip to Whole Foods for something high-quality is in order. Or, hmmm, there is a box of fudge mix in the back of the pantry. Maybe homemade fudge would be good. Would save me a trip AND money.

Good luck with your Long Monday.

For my kids' Christmas stockings I got them each 2 really good Chocolate bars from WF. For DS I got one that had bacon in it and one that had jerky in it and they were fantastic. DH, is a vegetarian so hers had nuts and berries. It never occurred to me to give them candy for Valentines. I always write them a little note in their lunch box, but I figured there would be plenty of candy around without me adding to the fray. Of course that is true of Christmas as well, but the stocking seems different to me.

    Congrats beating the binge!!!!

Since I am trying to cut back on DD's sugar (trying to get her grandma on board :s) I am looking at a charm bracelet to build on for Valentines, Easter etc.

I did that for my DD and she got herself a charm every time we went on vacation, excellent idea. Doesn't work as well for the boys!

What about a healthy homemade goodie? Lots of paleo chocolate chip cookie recipes out there... plus, you'll be putting your heart into it instead of just grabbing something from the shelf.

Feeling incredibly bitchy today and have had a headache all day. My day is only half over.

    Time for coffee and macadamias.

Bah, I have a headache too. I'm drinking tons water. Think it might've been something on the ribs & brisket that a co-worker brought in.

    Enjoy your snack!

Probably brown sugar or another form of sugar if they make their own sauce.
