Feel better! Less medicine is always a win, it is getting balanced that is the suck!

I made an appt for 11:15 today.
Signs of coumadin toxicity include extreme tiredness due to low iron and difficulty breathing... Maybe I shouldn't read those right now. lol
Signs of anemia also include being tired, dizzy, and short of breath.
I actually feel ok at the moment, just weak. I imagine that I need less coumadin because my veg intake is extremely low right now.

how often do they test? Once we got it stable I had to go once every 2 weeks I think.

When I am stable, it is once a month. I'm due for a test, but I made a major diet change in the last month as well.

yeah, when I went back to low carb when I got out of the hospital, I ended up getting off of the BP meds. Luckily I have not had a recurrence of the PE so they took me off the coumedin as well, fingers crossed on that one!

I'm happy for you. Yours may have been a one time thing. I actually have some weird clotting disorder. Maybe with lchf I will be able to get the coumadin down to normal levels.

I hope you can as well! Mine were very high when I was on it, so I am very happy not to have to keep it up. They never figured out why I got the PE, which is a little disturbing

oh man, the circus and the red tent with very thin blood. Hoping they can lower the dose today, luckily the dosage seems to have a pretty quick response.
Aren't you back yet?
