yeah for fending off a binge and the gym time you got in. The stress this weekend with dd had me cleaning the house like a crazy lady with spurts of crafting in between so I totally feel for your stressful times.

Pebbles, I hope you are feeling okay today. Money issues are the pits. And so is all the stress that comes with it.

Today is my middle son's 15th birthday. We have nice family plans for tonight and he may get a snow day off tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I binged on Saturday night and again yesterday and today so I blew my weightloss for this week. Having so many clean days between binges has helped me clearly see the triggers. I tend to binge over financial / marital stress, but there has to be a physical need to accompany, it at least at first. On Saturday, I needed more nutrition / water because I did intense exercise in the morning. I failed to get what I needed and then had some bad financial news. It all started with "binge ideation" - a clear vision of what my mind wanted and how it would taste. I resisted for a few hours , but finally gave in. It is a very weird experience and very hard to explain to those that do not have this issue.

I am still bingeing today, but it is more of an "F-it" situation rather than an need. Mentally I am feeling better. I dealt with the financial situation and the fight with my husband is basically over, we just haven't made up yet.

Hopefully it is a fun birthday for middle son. A snow day as nature's birthday present would be pretty sweet.

Interesting to read about the binges/triggers etc. Good detective work there P.

That awareness is what will help you beat this thing. It is not a set back because you are learning!

    This +1!

my DS's birthday is Feb, 2, and he usually gets it off because of snow. This year it is a Saturday though.
