LOL Nice, Sabine. When that woman wants to pay for something there is no stopping her. She can be very pushy. Guess where my husband got it from? There are some things I take a stand on. Like the kid's bedtime. She wanted to continue playing pinochle at 10pm last night, but I said no.

She is a great manipulator, in the sweetest way possible, but I am of stoic German/English stock and will not budge once I have taken a stand. We have a balance of power in place.lol

Great job on your W30 so far! I am on day 2. Yesterday was a great day and I expect today to be great as well. Feeling sleepy - must be starting the carb flu. I knew it was time to do a W30 b/c my mood has gone to pot recently. In order to keep my depression in check, I need to eat properly. My depression presents itself as moodiness and irritability - my patience wears real thin real fast and I get downright bitchy. I've been on that roller coaster for about 6 weeks now. Time to clean it up and get back on track or risk making a lot of people unhappy - including myself. Glad to have a buddy along the way!

Families.. I learn just to be saran wrap.. its not worth the aggravation, unless its a parenting issue. Some hills are worth dying on.

OK, My MIL is killing me. She keeps buying junk food...donuts, yodels, cookies, chips for all of us.
I had some fruit and nuts after a fabulous dinner of steak and shrimp with salad, but my mind is on the junk.

Try to be mindful of what goes from hand to mouth. You're doing well so far! I had an extra apple and some walnuts a little while ago because I need to go grocery shopping and was feeling tempted.

Thanks. I just need to hold on until 10 when I can logically bow out and go to bed. My husband is out at Fencing Club practice. We have been having problems with the custodians at the building where we practice. Since I am the advisor, he complains to me and then I have to email the higher ups tomorrow.

I am just under a lot of pressure and detoxing at the same time.

    Day 4

Phew! That was close. I got a little mouthy with fruit and nut butters, but am still on track. I piled all of Mom's junk food on the counter in the hopes that she will take it with her to the hotel in PA. My husband will take them today and pick them up late on Friday. Then he will drive them halfway back to Boston on Saturday to meet his brother. My husband is doing such a nice thing for his parents and sister. My In laws have never seen my SIL's salon that she opened a year ago in Bethlehem PA.

As for me, Today is my pre observation meeting and then a regular day of school.

FYI I have been putting my food into Fitday. I am eating between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. OK maybe more last night.
