Kevin, our 8 yr old son has been hanging out down there for hours this weekend He put one of his blankets and some toys on the day bed and has brought down several of his favorite videos. I just brought him upstairs for dinner and reminded him that he lives upstairs. : ) I'm glad he likes it, but we may have to limit access.

2 poor eating days which is not surprising considering it is PMS week and the anniversary of my Mom's death is coming up on Wednesday.

I'm back on the wagon today.

I've been thinking a lot about the Prozac. I started it so that I could stop binging and continue to lose weight. Since I started it, I have done nothing but continue binging and gaining weight. I am going to wean off Prozac and then drop it all together. I am supposed to stop it at this point in my cycle anyway, so I will just not pick it back up in 14 days.

Mom, I can't believe it has been a year. We've gone through all the milestones without you, holidays, birthdays, events...

I miss our conversations and the laughter, but most of all, the singing.

Yesterday, I spent the day with my husband. It was nice. We talked about Mom some, but mostly just had fun together,

Starting a clean whole 30 like program today. No AS and no dairy.
Low carb by choice except maybe one day/ week when I will add a potato or rice

Exception: Whey protein drink with splenda. It is in the mix so there is nothing I can do. I have to weigh the negative of AS against the positive of the extra protein.

hey, I have switched to this protein, no additives, no flavoring, add it to what ever you want. Actually cheaper than what I was using.

Confession: I'm in my sixth straight day of binging. Tired, frustrated, sad and PMSing. Stress at work, job situation for my husband, money troubles, lingering grief. Hoping to get my shit together this weekend.

hugs, I know from experience that it is like trying to stop a speeding train. Go easy on yourself, it will actually make it easier.
