Today was a perfectly clean day. Go Figure. Just trying to put more days between binges. I made 14 this time.

Crappy day yesterday. Sick, bingey. Ate a ton.

Raising my protein today by way of whey shakes.

    Hang in there, Pebbles.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you physically could not binge when you got in the minge-mood? Say, you were a prisoner in a cell. (Just as an intellectual/emotional exercise- not suggesting you lock yourself up!) I don't have the level of difficulty that you do, but I often get this sense of impending SOMETHING, and I'll stress-eat. I wonder if there is a sense of 'explosion' that gets us going. If we physically could NOT eat, would we scream? Cry? Go catatonic? Get hysterical?

Eating is so good at tamping down emotions, along with any physical symptoms, I wonder what we would end up with if we couldn't. Sometimes it scares me, just thinking about it, so I know it must be some powerful stuff.

Thinking about you. Hope you have any easy day today.

That is a really great way to think about it, Sabine. I could have made it through yesterday without binging, but I chose to eat carbs to just "get through it". I went home and took a nap after school. That did more good for me than the eating did.

@Sabine, when I can't binge, I just cry. I get like that a lot at work and it freaks people out. The bad thing is that I don't care who sees me crying. I don't cry at home much though.

Yeah my students would freak if I cried too. I was more afraid that I would yell and they are all such nice kids. So I pigged out to protect my students? Stupid.

I fought the urge to cry last night but I had a small binge when I got home. Made a grilled ham and swiss sandwich. After that, I went to bed. I really can't wait to get back onto a normal shift.

Hi Paula. Had some catching up to do. I hope you're starting to feel better and that the binges remain at bay.

The play sounds like a lot of fun!

I might have missed it... any job leads for DH?

    Jenn,

I had a couple of binges this week. Stress and hormone related. No jobs yet for hubby. He lost a chance recently because he has no hospital "floor" experience. I also think his age may be a factor which of course they would never admit.
