I think she should get even more points for approaching her teacher in a grocery store. Whenever we see a teacher 'out in public' my daughters get VERY embarrassed. They can barely say hello. I think they think teachers belong ONLY in school, and it might be dangerous to acknowledge them as actual people with lives.

'Nother former teacher here. Even my college age students thought it was weird if they bumped into me say, in the ladies room or something.

I love teenagers because they have no poker faces...One girl in my Spanish II class had to do a personal interview with me in Spanish (of course) because there were an odd # of students for partner work. She asked my age and when I responded in Spanish, "I am 45 yrs old" She looked at me incredulously. Then she asked again to make sure she heard me right.

I guess I don't look or act my age.

So, I was cast in "Lust N' Rust". There are 4 female roles in the show.

Connie - the waitress who is divorcing Duane for infidelity and gets into an affair with Steve the new plant manager.
Tanya - Connie's loud and loose best friend.
Janette - A single mother of twins, new to the trailer park
Latisha - A twenty something, african american hairdresser from Chicago

Guess which one I was offered.
