Another Lovely Day! Yesterday the temps hit 93. A bit much for April.

My "Chuckle Patch" which was created & planted for me several Mother's Days ago by my boys.
If you look closely, there is a goat in the background.

Yes, we are blessed to have almost 4 wooded acres on the edge of the Catskill Mtns. We bought our home and property in 2000 for a great price. After 9/11 property values around here went nuts. We never would have been able to afford it after that. Luckily, our house is a small ranch, so taxes are high, but livable.

And here's our boy Sonic, the goat who believes he is a dog and can't understand why he isn't allowed in the house.

Yes, he is wearing a harness and is attached to a 20 ft, metal cable. If we let him wander loose, he visits the neighbors and eats their flowers. He also has a fenced in area attached to his shed. The female deer come up close to him. They recognize that he is like them but not the same. When he was a baby, they tried to break him out of the fence and take him away.

Hi Paula, am getting current with your journal right now. Wanted to say thanks for this reference, sounds good.
