The exhaustion is actually my fault. I brought home work to do over vacation and then blew it off. Yes folks, I'm a good teacher in part because I "get" the lazy student mentality.

Chris What is the brand name of the chocolate tea? I am way overdoing the stevia; I need to cut back.

Republic of Tea. the no caffeine version I use is Red Velvet Chocolate, and the one I use as an afternoon pick me up is Chocolate Double Dark Mate (I think), you can get them at their websiteSearch Results When I get my new credit card number, I am going to order a few others as well (the coconut chocolate sounds yummy).

p.s. I over do the stevia as well, but hey, gotta pick my battles and this one is low on the list right now.

I had my first voice lesson with my new teacher today. We decided to change my audition song to one that highlights my voice in it's best range. I am doing"Cockeyed Optimist" from South Pacific.

She is very comfortable and I think we will get on well together. I was not at all intimidated by her "fame". For now, I will do 1/2 hr /week, maybe changing to 1 hr/ week when school ends.

She loves my low range and referred to me as a Tenor rather than the more operatic term Contralto. I was way out of practice and my breath control sucked. Right now, my only goal is to be ready for the audition on the 27th.

Great for the grades and AWESOME for the voice lessons! I'll need to look up that song.
