My solution: Stay home from work and take care of some of the stuff that is hanging over me. Get some sleep. Breathe.

Thanks everyone for the support yesterday. I'm damn glad that I didn't write all that I was thinking as I read some of the responses here. I may not agree with everything that was said, but it all helps to keep me moving forward.
Yes, good. As they say, even Hitler meant well =P I am glad you are moving forward, that's what matters most IMO.

They say he did make the trains run on time

And the world would be a really dull place if we all agreed all the time. Here is to being contrary!

Ah, could be. I guess I just always think of Germans as being efficient. Italians not so much. Thanks for the correction

It turns out he didn't either...snopes.com: Mussolini and On Time Trains

and there is also this..."Italy has a reputation for not doing things on time. Germany does. The idea about Mussolini was that he supposedly got the trains to run on time by making those responsible live in fear. So the point of saying that Mussolini made the trains run on time is to point out that the ends may not justify the means.

In Germany, the trains run on time with few exceptions for weather. No reign of fear required. Its a cultural thing. Hitler had no positive impact there. Starting a war probably worked against them running on time since allied fighters tended to shoot up engines and rolling stock when returning home from escorting bombers. "

History lesson of the day...sorry Paula getting sidetracked here.
