Congrats on finishing the 2 classes and living to tell the tale!

Can't wait to see the photos of the costume!

    Sounds like a great time!

Well, I got through today's bootcamp. 4 classes in 3 days! Had a great breakfast at the Nibble Nook with my husband and eldest son. Ribeye steak and Eggs. Yum!

That is awesome.. I love down days in my class when the load of work is on the kids and I just supervise. Had a day like that as students were writing a lab summary.

A note on carb refeeds: Yesterday after two weeks of very strict Paleo eating, I had a higher carb day. Our BBQ dinner included pork and beef in sauce, beans, cole slaw and chili. Instead of the disaster I expected, today I am at a new low weight. Go figure. I thought I'd put this info here in case anyone needs it. You could do the same thing with sweet potato or white rice and avoid the less optimal stuff that was in the BBQ. I had a super long day yesterday and did not have great control of my food.

Talk to you all later. I am at a teacher's conference all day and will have little free time. Have a great day!

I did the same thing this weekend with half a baked sweet potato and I am at the lowest weight I have been since getting pregnant with my 2.5yr old! I am beginning to think a carb refeed every 2 weeks or so is very important.

I think some carbs now and then are pretty important, especially if your like Paula and are working your tush off I actually do well with a bit of butternut squash, etc. periodically.

Paula, have fun at the conference (is there fun to be had? don't know much about these conferences...).
