I've found running to be easier in my minimalist shoes. My mom thinks I'm crazy, but I love them.

Best thing about minimust shoes... they do not break down so you have to get new ones. The worst that can happen is you wear holes in them.

I am planning on getting a pair when the weather improves here. In the summer I wear the thinest (and cheapest) shoes I can find. This year, I have been investing in better shoes/boots, so VFFs or other simial shoe is next. I hope it helps me to run as I would love to add sprints more often (and not just when I am racing my son with our dogs).

The only thing I like about sprints is that they are over quickly! But, I've decided they are a necessary evil. Sounds like more fun to get gem in chasing your son and/or dog. My dog is a good sprint partner, as long as we are grass (in case I fall).

I'm down another pound this morning - could it have been the sprinting I did w/ the dog yesterday? I wish we could make it this easy, but alas, I know better. Nice to see the scale finally starting to move again though. I have some ground to re-gain (pounds to loose) since last fall descended and the light went away. Funny how stuff like that effects us so profoundly.

Yay! All of my belly dancing costume pieces arrived today. I tried it all on and I look HOT, if I'm allowed to say so myself. My seven year old son asked me to dance with him.

Damn, I have to go to the gym for my 2 classes. By the time I get back, you'll all be in bed. WAAAH!

OK I'm back. I survived two classes. The Bootcamp make up consisted of the teacher and 3 students. There were 4 stations, so it was perfect. We had fun. I came home soaked with sweat and had to shower before I could play on the web.
