Hubby had a vasectomy so that was never an issue - PHEW!! Before we got married I made him go to the doc and have a sample tested to make SURE there were no live ones getting through. We've never had to worry about BC.

Put you're worries to rest and just do a PG test. Most are accurate very early now.

Get the test. There is no greater happy than a negative when you need one* and, if it is positive, you'll have more time to decide what to do.

*Yes, I know this happy. And I know the happy of a positive when you want one. The longed-for negative is better.

I agree, get the test now. When I've been worried in the past, I usually get my period within 24 hrs of the negative test . It's a great stress relief that you never realize is there until it's gone. They are very accurate including several days prior to your expected period (obviously even more so after).

Hi Pebbles. Hope the tom arrives for you. I hated that nervousness. So glad we are past that now.

Thought it was about time I joined you all in here. My name is Bifcus and I am a binge eater.

There. I said it. Just read Jensters thread in the nutrition forum whilst eating half a pack of GF shortbreads. Thought maybe I do belong here.......

I understand the trigger in this case. Had just written to the team about their futures after I become redundant in three weeks time. So, obviously that one was comfort based. No idea at all how I will get through the next three weeks without putting on heaps of weight.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind another one coming along for the ride.

    Welcome Bifcus,

Glad you are here. My MDA friends have been so important to my journey. I have learned so much from them.
