Egg nog would probably make good ice cream. I don't usually cook mine though (ice cream). If you don't mind raw eggs, I'd just skip that step.

I learned a great ice cream trick to keep it from becoming rock hard in the freezer: when you mix the ingredients, add 1oz of neutral alcohol (some people use flavored), I use vodka. Doesn't matter if it is regular or low carb.

Looking for a really simple coconut ice cream recipe, can anyone help?

I do not have a sweet tooth at all so will not require sweetener, honey or anything. I just want a cold creamy dessert really

can I just put coconut milk in the ice cream machine?

I just use 3 tablespoons of honey when I make it. If it isn't sweet enough for people, they can put more honey on top.

Personal staple. Just omit the sweetener should you not want it.

lol @ 8-10g of sugar being a lot. That's the calories of a single tablespoon of heavy cream, or a teaspoon of oil. You can do what I do and blend half palm sugar and half stevia. It has zero aftertaste with the Stevita brand I purchase. However, don't kid yourself that it's Primal. It is, in my opinion, an acceptable vice. It surely beats cake and fast food. As far as desserts go, homemade ice cream with cream, milk, eggs and sugar is about as healthy as it gets.
